Submitting Samples



Please make sure that you:

  • LABEL TUBES CLEARLY WITH PET'S NAME AND OWNERS LAST NAME.
  • Ship samples in a sturdy cardboard box with bubble wrap.
  • Separated-Serum transferred into a plastic or red top tube is recommended. Send by two-day courier.
  • Do not freeze samples. Blue & lavender top tubes require an ice pack with an overnight courier.
  • Send by US Priority Mail, US Express Mail, Fed-Ex, UPS or other courier. 
  • Samples received in our office Monday - Saturday.
  • HEMOPET will submit samples for analysis and Dr. Dodds will follow with interpretations and recommendations.

SENDING SAMPLES TO HEMOLIFE IS AS EASY AS 1-2-3 !  (1) Call Hemopet to purchase mailing pack with pre-paid return postage. (2)  Have your blood drawn. (3) Mail it back to us !   WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU SEND YOUR SAMPLES TO US.  (1) Age- and breed-specific (patented) interpretation of results.  (2) Personal analysis, and recommendation from Dr. Jean Dodds. (3) Follow-up consultation if needed. WHY ARE  SOME PRICES SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN THE MAJOR LABORATORIES ? (1) All samples and results are treated on a “personal level” basis- your sample is NOT just an accession number to us! (2) Each report is manually prepared by the Hemolife staff, and is personally reviewed and interpreted by Dr. Jean Dodds. (3) If further consultations are required, the pet owners or veterinarians can further discuss the case with Dr. Dodds at no additional charge – these 3 reasons apply ONLY when using Hemolife.
