New Automated Technology Introduced to Hemopet Hemolife Diagnostics Division

By on

Hemopet has just installed a state-of-the-art robotic immunoanalyser for use in its specialty laboratory diagnostics program. This instrument will enable the Hemolife Laboratory staff to perform the salivary-based Nutriscan food intolerance testing on dogs and cats, and the thyroglobulin autoantibody (TgAA) assay for the Thyroid Profile 5 and Thyroid Profile 5 PLUS. Other collaborative clinical research projects will also use this instrument. The immunoanalyser should be in full operation by the end of the year and will permit automated assays to be run continuously to accommodate the increasing volume of diagnostic samples.
